I'm a freelance writer and games journalist at and The Guardian. I am also a sewer, gamer, writer of fiction and lover of cake.

I write games. I am half of 3-Fold Games, a female game development team, based in the Southwest of England. We are working on our first game, 'Before I Forget' and I am the narrative designer.

As a Vice Chair of BAME in Games, a Women in Games Ambassador and a board member of Women in Games, I am an active campaigner for diversity in games. These not-for-profit organisations work to increase the number of women and POC in the games industry and in senior roles. Get in touch to ask me about working in games. Working under the title Chella Writes, I am an experienced copywriter, writing websites, blogs, press releases and articles for the games industry, insurance, travel, consumer credit, fin tech sectors and more.

I also write fiction and founded Taunton's writer's group - Writers Anon.
